Osmond Ward Adventures: The Elm Barons Revenge

The Story Thus Far:

It has been two years since the Fall of the Flying Fort Derryvenn - a luxury liner transporting a mysterious energy cell cargo for an unknown weapon. You fought your way off its decks, as crew and passenger, and as it touched the sea, its deck fading from view, you made for land. Rescued by Iron Wolves, you spent many weeks travelling and trying to recover. You moved on.

You always wondered, however. In those final moments, did Ivan truly die? Was it really that simple, such that he would perish in the sea in a falling ship he never truly wanted? You didn’t think so, and so as a result you’ve done everything in your power with the rest of your companions to watch the coast and air, keeping an ear out for reports, legends… Any sign of the mysteriously missing baron. When you received word of his survival, you were ready. The shanty town of Frose, the telegraph told you, had recently come under control of a man named Ivan, and with red uniformed men following under his wing, you knew you had to put an end to his treachery. Once and for all. 

The Elm Barons Revenge is a sequel adventure, taking place two years after the Fall of The Flying Fortress Derryvenn. Playable as either part of a series of adventures or standalone, the module is built for a group of level 5-6 players for Osmond Ward v1.5.

Players will take on the role of slighted adventurers, officers, and civilians, traumatized by the actions of a single tyrannical pirate captain and hell bent on revenge. Travelling to the gates of the city, they must cause as much destruction as humanly possible, draw out the captain, and end him through whatever methods they can. 

Can the players put their trauma to rest, and in the process, save a town under the thumb of a dictator? Only you can find out the answer.
